Course Agenda

Day 1 – Introduction to PRINCE2 and Principles

  • Overview of project management environments and the structure of PRINCE2​
  • The seven core principles of PRINCE2
  • Defining roles, responsibilities, and the project management team structure
  • Starting up a project and initiating a project processes
  • Hands-on: Develop a Project Brief and stakeholder map for a simulated corporate case study.

Day 2 – PRINCE2 Themes and Management Control

  • Managing business justification and the ongoing Business Case
  • Quality planning and quality review techniques
  • Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues
  • Controlling stage boundaries and managing product delivery
  • Hands-on: Conduct a risk assessment workshop and create a product breakdown structure for an active project stage.

Day 3 – Directing, Closing, and Tailoring PRINCE2

  • Directing projects and managing stage transitions
  • Closing a project and evaluating post-project benefits
  • Tailoring PRINCE2 to suit different project scales and environments
  • Course wrap-up, Q&A, and personal action planning
  • Hands-on: Perform a simulated project closeout exercise and design a tailored PRINCE2 governance model.

Assessment Methodology

All courses conducted by EdTech will begin with a Pre-evaluation and end with a Post-evaluation. The instructor will evaluate the knowledge and skills of the participants according to the feedback given by participants.
