Course Description

This 5-day training course offers a comprehensive foundation in the planning, design, installation, testing, and hydraulic modeling of pipelines used in oil & gas, water, wastewater, and industrial systems. Participants will gain a clear understanding of pipeline engineering concepts, design standards, installation techniques, pressure testing requirements, and the application of hydraulic models for system analysis and optimization. The program emphasizes safe, efficient, and compliant pipeline systems in accordance with international standards and industry best practices.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamental principles of pipeline design and material selection
  • Identify design criteria including pressure, temperature, flow, and stress considerations
  • Interpret design codes and regulatory standards relevant to pipeline systems
  • Understand the theoretical framework behind pipeline installation and routing methods
  • Outline key requirements and procedures for hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
  • Comprehend the basics of hydraulic modelling and its role in pipeline performance analysis

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for technical and engineering professionals involved in the design, management, and planning of pipeline systems.
