Course Description

This intensive 5-day training program delivers a comprehensive understanding of welding technologies, fabrication processes, and inspection techniques, focusing on welding methods, materials, joint design, fabrication standards, quality control measures, defect identification, and applicable codes and standards across various industries.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:

  • Understand core welding principles, metallurgy, and types of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW)
  • Interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
  • Identify appropriate welding procedures and joint preparations for different materials and thicknesses
  • Apply knowledge of welding codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • Recognize common welding defects and understand their causes and remedies
  • Understand inspection techniques including visual, radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and control protocols during fabrication and inspection stages

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for Welders, fabrication technicians, inspectors, quality control personnel, engineers, and supervisors involved in welding and fabrication operations across industries such as construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
