Course Description

This 5-day course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to manage, optimize, and improve business processes using APQC’s Process Classification Framework (PCF) and best practices. The program focuses on process design, performance measurement, analysis, and continuous improvement. Participants will gain hands-on experience in process mapping, benchmarking, and management techniques to drive efficiency and organizational excellence.

Day 1 – Introduction to Process Management & APQC Framework

Day 2 – Process Analysis & Performance Measurement

  • Identifying process KPIs and metrics
  • Techniques for process performance analysis and benchmarking
  • Hands-on exercise: Analyzing sample processes using APQC benchmarks

Day 3 – Process Design & Redesign

  • Principles of effective process design and reengineering
  • Tools and techniques for process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Hands-on exercise: Redesigning a process for efficiency and quality improvement

Day 4 – Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

  • Implementing continuous improvement methodologies
  • Process governance, documentation, and knowledge management
  • Hands-on exercise: Developing a continuous improvement plan

Day 5 – Integration, Simulation & Certification Prep

  • Integrating process management into organizational strategy
  • Process simulation and case studies for real-world application
  • Practice assessment for APQC Process Manager certification
  • Q&A, wrap-up, and action plan for implementing process management initiatives

Assessment Methodology

All courses conducted by EdTech will begin with a Pre-evaluation and end with a Post-evaluation.
