Course Description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and methodologies for greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting at the organizational level. Participants will learn how to measure, report, and manage GHG emissions in accordance with global standards such as the GHG Protocol. The course covers emissions scopes, data collection, calculation approaches, and reporting frameworks to help organizations understand their carbon footprint and develop effective strategies for reduction.

    Day 3: Reporting, Verification & Application
    • Reporting frameworks and formats
    • Internal and external GHG reporting requirements
    • Verification and assurance of GHG data
    • Using GHG accounting to support sustainability strategies
    • Case studies and practical examples of corporate GHG reporting

    Assessment Methodology
