Course Description

The Certified Energy Manager (CEM) program is a comprehensive and technical training designed to prepare professionals to manage and optimize energy use in industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. The course is aligned with globally recognized energy management best practices, focusing on energy auditing, energy efficiency technologies, project evaluation, measurement & verification, energy procurement, and sustainability strategies. This program equips participants with the competence required to lead organizational energy management initiatives and prepares them for internationally recognized CEM certification pathways.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:

  • Understand energy management principles and international best practices.
  • Develop and implement an energy management program aligned with ISO 50001.
  • Perform energy performance analysis and identify energy conservation measures.
  • Evaluate energy efficiency technologies in HVAC, motors, lighting, boilers, and compressed air systems.
  • Conduct energy audits and develop energy baselines and EnPIs.
  • Apply Measurement & Verification (M&V) methods for energy savings validation.
  • Perform financial evaluation (ROI, NPV, IRR, payback) for energy projects.

Who Should Attend?
