Course Description

This 3-day technical course provides participants with practical skills in configuring and administering ArcFM, the GIS-based utility network management solution built on Esri's ArcGIS platform. Participants will learn ArcFM configuration principles, data modeling, feature class setup, and system administration to support utility network operations. The course combines conceptual understanding with hands-on configuration exercises relevant to electric, gas, and water utility environments.

  • ArcFM Designer configuration and workflows
  • Editing rules and validation configuration

  • User roles and permission management
  • System maintenance and troubleshooting basics
  • Best practices for ArcFM administration
