Course Description

This 3-day practical course develops participants' skills in managing workplace conflict, negotiating effectively, and making sound decisions under pressure. Participants will learn conflict resolution frameworks, negotiation strategies, and decision-making models to handle challenging interpersonal and organizational situations with confidence and skill. The course combines proven techniques with real-world scenarios to build practical competence.

  • Mediation and facilitation techniques
  • Managing conflict in teams and across departments
  • Hands-on: Conflict scenario analysis and resolution practice

Day 2 – Negotiation Skills

  • Principles of effective negotiation
  • Positional vs. principled negotiation (Fisher & Ury framework)
  • Preparing for negotiations: interests, positions, and alternatives
  • Negotiation tactics and counter-tactics
  • Building rapport and trust in negotiations
  • Closing agreements and follow-through 

Day 3 – The Art of Decision Making

  • Decision-making frameworks and models
  • Cognitive biases and their impact on decisions
  • Group decision-making and consensus building
  • Making decisions under uncertainty and pressure
  • Ethical considerations in decision-making
  • Integrating conflict management and negotiation into decisions

Assessment Methodology

All courses conducted by EdTech will begin with a Pre-evaluation and end with a Post-evaluation.
