Course Description

The ETAP Software Training program is a hands-on technical course designed to develop practical competence in power system modeling, analysis, and protection studies using ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program).

This intensive training focuses on real-world industrial power system applications including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, motor starting analysis, protection coordination, arc flash studies, and system optimization. Participants will build and analyze complete electrical networks using ETAP tools.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:

  • Build and model electrical power systems in ETAP
  • Perform load flow and voltage drop analysis
  • Conduct short circuit studies based on IEC/ANSI standards
  • Execute motor starting and transient analysis
  • Develop protection coordination and TCC curves
  • Perform arc flash hazard analysis
  • Generate technical reports and engineering documentation
  • Apply ETAP for design validation and troubleshooting

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for electrical engineers, power system engineers, protection engineers, consultants, and technical professionals involved in power system design, operation, and analysis.
