The ISSB Standards Training Course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards, including IFRS S1 (General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information) and IFRS S2 (Climate-related Disclosures). The program covers the objectives, structure, and application of ISSB standards, enabling participants to interpret and implement sustainability reporting in alignment with international frameworks. Through case studies and practical examples, participants gain insights into disclosure requirements, sustainability-related risks and opportunities, and integration with corporate reporting. The training prepares organizations to meet global sustainability reporting expectations and enhances internal reporting practices.

Day 1: Introduction to ISSB and Sustainability Reporting

Day 2: IFRS S2 – Climate-Related Disclosures

  • Scope and structure of IFRS S2
  • Identifying climate-related risks and opportunities
  • Reporting principles for governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics/target
  • Integration with financial reporting and corporate disclosures
  • Practical examples of climate-related reporting
Day 3: Implementing ISSB Standards in Organizations

  • Mapping ISSB standards to existing reporting frameworks (GRI, TCFD, etc.)
  • Preparing sustainability reports aligned with ISSB standards
  • Challenges and solutions in disclosure and data collection
  • Review of case studies and practical application exercises
  • Program review, key takeaways, and action planning

Assessment Methodology

All courses conducted by EdTech will begin with a Pre-evaluation and end with a Post-evaluation.
