The RTDS Advanced Applications Training Course is a comprehensive 5-day program that provides in-depth exposure to the Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) for complex power system applications. The training also addresses renewable energy integration, with practical simulations of solar PV and wind generation systems, focusing on grid connection, voltage control, stability, and fault ride-through analysis. Advanced topics include protection and control applications, such as real-time testing of protective relays, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations, and implementation of custom control systems.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
This course is designed for power system engineers, protection and control engineers, HVDC/FACTS specialists, renewable energy engineers, researchers, and technical professionals working with real-time simulation of power systems.
