Course Description

The Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Technology Training Program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the design, operation, and maintenance of SWRO desalination plants. The program covers principles of reverse osmosis, system components, pretreatment, post-treatment, energy recovery, and troubleshooting, enabling participants to manage seawater desalination projects effectively and optimize performance.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the principles of seawater desalination and reverse osmosis.
  • Design and size SWRO systems based on water quality and capacity requirements.
  • Select and operate SWRO system components, including membranes, pumps, and energy recovery devices.
  • Implement effective pretreatment and post-treatment processes.
  • Monitor plant performance and optimize energy efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot common operational issues in SWRO plants.
  • Apply best practices for maintenance and sustainability of SWRO systems.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for engineers, operators, water treatment professionals, plant managers, and technical staff involved in desalination, water treatment, or utility operations.
