Course Description

This 3-day technical course provides comprehensive training in symmetrical components theory and its application in power system analysis. Participants will learn the mathematical foundations of symmetrical components, sequence networks, unbalanced fault analysis, and practical applications in protection and system studies. The course emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical problem-solving skills.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:

  • Understand symmetrical components theory and mathematical foundations
  • Apply symmetrical components to unbalanced system analysis
  • Construct and analyze sequence networks
  • Calculate unbalanced fault currents using symmetrical components
  • Apply symmetrical components in protection applications
  • Solve practical power system problems using symmetrical components

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for power system engineers, protection engineers, electrical engineers, and technical professionals involved in power system analysis and protection.
