Course Description

This 3-day technical course provides comprehensive training in variable speed motor drives (VFDs/VSDs) including operating principles, applications, installation, programming, and troubleshooting. Participants will learn AC and DC drive technologies, motor control methods, drive selection, energy efficiency, and maintenance practices. The course combines theory with practical skills for effective drive system implementation and operation.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:

  • Understand variable speed drive operating principles and types
  • Select appropriate drives for motor applications
  • Install and commission drive systems correctly
  • Program and configure drive parameters
  • Troubleshoot drive faults and performance issues
  •  Apply drives for energy efficiency and process control

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for electrical engineers, maintenance engineers, instrumentation technicians, electricians, and technical personnel responsible for motor drive systems.
