Course Description

Woodward Governor continues to meet the demands for more efficient engine management, exhaust emission control, digital control systems, air and fuel valves, engine ECUs and power management controls. Governors are the operational lifeline of any engine and must be serviced and calibrated with installation done by competent personnel. 

This Governor Calibration & Overhaul course provides the participants with a better understanding of Woodward Governor operations, calibration/testing procedures, tuning, maintenance, programming, fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair. Hardware and software programming, monitoring, and adjustment of controls are demonstrated using videos.

Course Objectives

Upon the successful completion of this course, each participant will be able to:
