The course covered the methodology, production analysis and the integration of stockyard and rail network; detailed overview of semiportable reclaimer and belt conveyors system; the automation of reclaimers for bulk materials and analyzation of the failure of a bucket stacker reclaimer; the bucket wheel reclaimer for continuous bulk handling; the combination of stacker and reclaimer and stacking-reclaiming systems. Also, it will discuss the material handling, proper techniques on lifting, hoisting, elevating, dragging, pulling, pushing, loading and carrying excavating. Various parts and types of reclaimers will be covered; the reclaiming method of BWR and the stacker-reclaimer scheduling in a dry bulk terminal, the bulk material handling apparatus, stacker-reclaimer material handling unit, reclaiming systems and equipment; the components of conveyor systems and the various types of conveyors available in the market place; the transfers and loading boxes/area, pulleys, gearboxes, motors, fluid drives and couplings, the conveyor belting, misalignment of conveyor systems, and start-up issues.
